Acer AL 1912 19 inch 1280×1024 LCD Monitor

It features a full 19inch viewable area, which is perfect for anyone doing application that require this kind of area like designers, or anyone who just likes things big.
The maximum screen resolution of 1280×1024 is reasonable for this size of screen. Although I would expect it to be able to support up to 1600×1200 the size it will go up to should be enough to fit large amounts of data onscreen, while not becoming too small.
The monitor itself is black with white buttons at the front bottom of the monitor.

Although it is very bright, the Acer AL1912 has several very annoying characteristics that make it not worth owning.
The response time is too slow to watch movies with a lot of action, or to play any sort of fast game. You get a smeary picture. Even scrolling text up and down is annoying.
There is an unacceptable drift with temperature which causes the picture to drift to the side when it gets warm. There is a related moire pattern which you can’t correct with the clock adjustment. In some cases it goes out of sync and the picture jumps to the right, leaving one-third of the screen black.
If I’d known these things before, I never would have bought this monitor.
